About
Jet A Studio is a team of web professionals living and working in Louisville, KY. We were introduced to the web when it was a series of local bulletin boards, got our first taste of a browser through AOL and Prodigy, and were in awe the first time we googled “street fighter.” Now we use the internet to read the news, catch up with friends, find a good Thai restaurant, watch “Lost,” follow our teams, and for airline tickets, mail, directions, phone numbers, banking, music, advice, education, movie times… the uses grow with dozens of new ideas launching every week. We live the internet.
We’ve all done our time practicing web development for large organizations. The slow pace of working with managers who had managers, and the politics surrounding a large network of people felt like the wrong approach for working in an environment as lively and changing as the Internet. The result is Jet A Studio. We’re lean, fast, and nimble - much like our products - and mean to stay that way.

We try to steer clear of absolutes and ideologies, but the following principles serve us well:

- Design for the user, not ourselves
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle does not apply to Ideas
- Bells and whistles may dazzle, but simplicity sells
- Web experiences should be enjoyable
